Jesserit has been keeping me busy in the past couple months as we’ve been writing our album and playing some acoustic radio sessions.
We’ve just taken delivery of a flock of 8 sheep at the farm to keep the grass down so the air is quite errrr….. farmy.

We’re leaving our beloved farm after 9 months of countryside bliss and 24/7 really loud music.
But we’ve found a new farm even further away from anyone else (set in 250 acres!) with plenty of scope for a new, bigger, better studio. While we sort out the move and get settled in and setup, I won’t be getting much recording done. I’ll be on the email though so get in contact anyway and I’ll be able to give you a more accurate estimate for dates and stuff.

Legendary engineer and all round quality bloke Rob Aubrey (Spock’s Beard, Asia, Tony Levin, Thomas Lang) came round to our farm the other day to have a look around, chat about recording and give us any tips for getting good band sounds from our home studio. He had loads of great tips including how to get a sweet vocal sound, and combining drumagog samples and organic snare samples to make a hybrid snare BEAST.
We’re super grateful that he’d give us his time when he’s so busy (must have been the offer of food?)
